The Westgem Farms Guesthouse is open year round so you can enjoy all four seasons in the Alberta foothills. Step out the door of guesthouse and go hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding (if you brought a horse), bird watching, wildlife photography, or just sit back and relax.

CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST
What you really want on your family vacation is to do what you want to do. At Westgem, you have your choice of waking up to a Continental Breakfast or take care of your own breakfast preferences. Lunches and dinners are self-catered, but if you would like a picnic lunch packed, just ask!

HORSE BOARDING
Westgem Farms can accommodate large horse trailer rigs, living quarter trailers, and multiple vehicles. The yard is well lit so even if you arrive after dark, getting horses unloaded is easy. We welcome weary horses that are travelling to a new home across the country or even people wanting to take their horses on vacation with them. Come and experience a weekend getaway with your horse.

If you would like some one-on-one time with your horse, we can make arrangements for a trainer to come out and spend some time working with you and your horse.

RELAX INDOORS OR SIT UNDER THE STARS
We offer a variety of books, games and puzzles, a living room with TV and VCR, and a full kitchen where you can make your own family favourites. In the evening, sit out on the veranda under the stars with a glass of wine, or roast marshmallows around the firepit.
